Welcome to Rogers Cattle Company
At Rogers Cattle Company, we are a pasture-based livestock farm dedicated to raising registered Red Angus seedstock and Katahdin hair sheep. We offer a wide range of pasture-raised meats, including beef, lamb, and pork. Our sheep also play a vital role in grazing solar farms.

Registered Red Angus Cattle
We have a forage based cattle management system where we produce registered Red Angus seedstock that thrive on fescue pastures in the Southeastern United States.
As a cooperator with Red Hill Farms in Lafayette, TN we offer our bulls and females for sale in March, May and October. Save the date for our next bull and female sale - October 26, 2024
Katahdin Hair Sheep
Our commercial Katahdin hair sheep flock work along side our cattle in our pasture based farming system. We find the sheep work well as companion grazers with the cattle and offer a diversified income stream.
Solar Grazing
Our hair sheep also serve as vegetation managers in several solar farms in our area. The sheep enjoy eating the grasses and broad leaf forages in the solar farms. This practice allows for less frequent mowing and less fossil fuel emissions from the reduced need for mowing.
Pasture Raised Meats
At Rogers Cattle Company, we believe in sustainable farming practices that prioritize the health of our soil and the well-being of our animals. We work hard to produce high-quality, humanely-raised meats following Beef Quality Assurance practices. We offer pasture-raised beef, lamb and pork that you can shop for at the Eno River Farmers Market in downtown Hillsborough, NC on Saturday mornings, from our online store or from the farm by appointment.
